Communication
Communication with us is the key to your child's success. Please feel free to contact us about any concerns and we will be sure to address them as soon as possible!
1. AGENDA: Our first and best means of communication is the agenda. Students should be using it to record homework and daily behavior reports. We will be sending notes and making you aware upcoming events. You should use it for making us aware of changes in dismissal, excuses for absences, and requesting conferences. We will check it every day, and ask that you do the same. Please initial it so that we know you have checked it.
2. EMAIL: We check our e-mails throughout the day and will be able to respond in a timely manner. We are usually unable to return phone calls until after school.
Reading, Writing, Social Studies: Mrs. Henry c[email protected]

3. CONFERENCES: Our goal is to meet with each of our students' parents. Please feel free at any time to send us a conference request. You can do this through email, agenda, or the school office.

R - Respectful Behavior (treating adults and peers respectfully with our words and body language)
I - Independent Thinking (thinking on your own, solving problems, being a leader)
D - Dedication to Safety (behaving in a way that keeps them and others safe)
E - Engaged in Learning (staying focus on the task, being involved in lessons, and participating)
Students are rewarded for meeting behavioral expectations. You can see your child's areas of strength and those that need improvement in the classroom, by referring daily to the P.R.I.D.E stamp in the agenda. Areas that need improvement will be circled along with a note asking for your support.
